urbn nest sell vintage and mid century furniture and decor. We're inspired by modernism and Scandinavian design and our stock reflects this. Our main emphasis is on high quality design that fits in with our aesthetic. 

 

urbn nest has one of the largest selections of vintage & mid century products in north-east England, stocking designer brands from Britain, France, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Central Europe and beyond. Browse hundreds of stylish pieces from the 1960s to the early 2000s.

WHERE ARE URBN NEST BASED?

urbn nest is based in Bedlington, near Newcastle. We're predominantly online based, selling through our website and on Instagram and Facebook. You can also find us on Vinterior and Narchie. We also have a showroom, open most weekends 11am - 4pm.

CAN I VIEW ITEMS IN PERSON?

If you would like to view an item, or just come for a browse, you can book an appointment to visit the urbn nest showroom by tapping here. Booking an appointment is the only way you can visit our showroom.

ARE URBN NEST DOG FRIENDLY?

Although we LOVE dogs at urbn nest, we're generally not dog friendly at the moment. We have a little rescue dog who comes to work with us - she is extremely friendly with people (hint hint - give her a stroke!) but she can sometimes get a little unhappy when indoors with other dogs.

 

However, there may be occasions when we don't have our dog with us. The best thing to do is book an appointment by tapping here where you can let us know if you'd like to bring your dog. We'll get back to you! ​

HOW OFTEN DOES URBN NEST GET NEW STOCK?
urbn nest are constantly updating our inventory with new stock. Our latest stock is listed on our homepage. 

We're always previewing our new stock on social media too. As a result a lot of our sold items are snapped up before they even make it to the website!

DO URBN NEST RESTORE ITEMS PRIOR TO SALE?
At urbn nest we pride ourselves in selling clean items in good condition which are ready to use. The work we have to do depends on the condition we receive stock in. This ranges from deep cleaning to full restorations and upholstery. Any restorations are done gently, respecting the original design while also bringing them into the present day.

You can choose your own fabrics for items which include reupholstery in the price.

CAN URBN NEST RESTORE MY FURNITURE?

urbn nest may be able to repair, restore and reupholster your own furniture in our large workshop space. We specialise in vintage & mid century furniture but we have done work to modern pieces too. Contact us for more info.

At urbn nest, shipping is free as standard for most mainland UK destinations and get 20% off if you collect from us (sale items are not eligible for a click & collect discount). Tap here for more info.

WILL URBN NEST BUY MY FURNITURE AND DECOR?
urbn nest are always on the lookout for new stock. We're naturally really picky as we hand pick the best items. If you have something we might be interested in, please fill out our stock acquisition form by tapping here. We'll get back to you and may request more photos. If we're interested, we'll try and negotiate a deal which will work for both of us so that we can find your items a loving new home.

HOW DOES URBN NEST PRICE ITEMS?

urbn nest doesn't just price based on how similar items have been priced online. We use a dynamic pricing system, based on several parameters, including the purchase cost, fuel and labour costs, and the cost of any materials. This keeps the cost as low and fair as possible for you.

urbn nest ensures shipping is free to most mainland UK locations, and we even give you 20% off if you take your items home with you (excluding sale items). To redeem, just select the options at checkout and add the "clickandcollect" discount code, or alternatively just pop into our showroom where we will apply the 20% discount to the final price. Please tap here to read more about our shipping and collection options. Please note that unfortunately sale items are not eligible for click & collect discounts. We reduce sale items by 20% anyway, bringing them down to the click & collect price so there's no need for a discount code! ​​

DOES URBN NEST OFFER ACCEPT LOWER OFFERS?​

Although urbn nest's prices are already competitive, we understand that occasionally money can be tight.

 

That's why you can also make us an offer by tapping the button when viewing a product. Suggest a price or payment structure which would work for you. For example, suggest an amount you'd be comfortable paying, a payment plan split over a number of weeks or months or a part exchange. If you live in the Bedlington area or between there and North Tyneside, we may even be able to waiver the delivery fee. While we can't guarantee we can accept every proposal, we'll always work with you to try and find an affordable solution for everyone. ​

DOES URBN NEST OFFER DISCOUNT ON MULTIPLE ITEMS?​

We can usually offer modest discounts on ordering multiple items.

While we can't guarantee we can accept every proposal, we'll always work with you to try and find an affordable solution for everyone.

CAN URBN NEST HOLD ITEMS WHILE I MOVE HOUSE?​

By default we'll keep items for 1 calendar month from the point of purchase (or in the case of freshly refurbished items, 1 month from completion) for no additional cost. 

​

If you're moving house or renovating and need us to keep items for longer, we charge a daily fee of £2 per item, which is payable prior to collection. For more details, please tap here.
