Art Deco 1920s Liberty's oak sideboard / buffet
A large decorative Art Deco oak sideboard / buffet likely built in the 1920s - 1930s by Liberty's of London, the world famous department store.
Pieces of this quality from the relatively short Art Deco era don't come up very often. With superb intriciate detailing - classic Art Deco in style - this piece is an incredible find. It features 3 doors, each with their own harved cone shaped handle. Two of the doors lead to large cupboard space, while one of the doors opens up to four campaign drawers, the top drawer complete with a felted cutlery drawer.
It sits on solid oak ball feet with ornate carvings above. On each door are striped carvings and flower details, still in their original turquoise colour. On the top of the unit, at the back, sits an oak plinth.
This is an incredible piece of furniture which deserves to be the centrepiece in the room. It's not often pieces like this come up, and this is an opportunity to own something special!
It's in original antique condition, as expected of a piece that's 100 years old. In our opinion it does require refurbishment work to bring it back to its former glory, hence the relatively low price.
The price also includes free shipping to most mainland UK locations as standard.
