Mid century teak sideboard by BCM

Mid century teak sideboard by BCM

A large teak sideboard / credenza, made by British firm Bath Cabinet Makers in the 1960s-1970s.

Known for their quality pieces, BCM’s sideboards are sought after and it’s easy to see why. This large sideboard features plenty of style, with gorgeous teak grains to the top, doors and drawer fronts, with contrasting solid Afromosia frame, legs and trim around the top edge. We LOVE the oversized solid Afromosia teak handles, square in shape with circular cut outs, they give a very retro feel!

Behind all that style is a lot of practicality, with loads of useful storage space within the four deep drawers and large central cupboard behind the sliding doors.

It’s built extremely solidly, a credit to those who designed and built it.

There’s also signs of wear and tear, a life well lived! But these are the reasons for buying vintage furniture, character that you can’t get if you buy new! This sideboard still has another life to live, and would make a fab addition to your home.

The price also includes free shipping to most mainland UK locations as standard.
