Pair of mid century cantilevered Pieff 'Lisse' chairs
A pair of rare mid century cantilvered polished steel chairs, designed by Tim Bates for Pieff. Model name "Lisse".
Designed in the mid 1970s by high-end firm Pieff, these chairs are elegant, minimal and comfortable due to the cantilvered frame. We have updated the fabric with this smart grey pattern, with the lines emphasising the shape of the chair. We chose this fabric as a modern-day interpreation of the original design. The chrome has also been cleaned and polished.
This chair design would look at home in dining settings, or split them up as dressing table and desk chairs. The smart colour scheme would work in modern, minimal homes as well as providing a contrast with colourful spaces.
