Mid century Danish teak sideboard
A superb Danish teak sideboard, likely made in the 1960s based on the design. We’re unsure of the exact maker of this one, however we’re 99% sure it’s of Danish origin due to the design features which are reminiscent of similar models by Arne Vodder and Dyrlund.
This extremely classy piece features some fantastic design, such as the solid Afromosia teak trims and frame accompanying the golden teak veneers throughout, the immaculate green felted drawers and the pristine birch wood interior.
There are two large cupboards behind sliding doors, in typical Danish fashion. Unusually these doors lock when needed with a pair of very decorative keys (pictured). In the centre is another Danish design feature - modernist handleless drawers - 5 of them on this example, each felt lined and trimmed in birch wood (although these linings are removable if needed).
This is a beautiful, statement piece which is a great example of 1960s Danish design. With super clean lines, soft edges, and that golden teak glow, it’s the perfect piece to add warmth and style to your living space, and would suit most interior styles.
The price also includes free shipping to most mainland UK locations as standard.
