Mid century G Plan Tulip sofa

Mid century G Plan Tulip sofa

A mid century curved 3 seat sofa with rosewood trim, designed by Victor Wilkins for G Plan in the 1970s.

The Tulip sofa is a sought after piece of 70s design and it’s easy to see why. With plush dusty pink velour fabric, a gentle curved frontage, and wonderful curved “tulip” shape rosewood panels to the sides, this sofa is the kind of retro which you can still pull off in a modern home. If that isn’t enough, the back panels are also rosewood, and there are chrome details to the sides and castors to finish it off.

The shape would suit a bay window area or corner of a room perfectly, although the curvature is subtle enough to be used on a straight wall, too.

The upholstery is in good condition for it’s age, and we can deep clean this prior to sale too. The price includes replacement foam for the cushions as the existing foam is life expired and showing signs of age (a couple of cushions are dusty as a result but fabric can easily be cleaned). However, the existing foam is still fairly plump and the sofa would still be useable as it is, and we would do this for a reduced price of £400 in current condition.

The prices also includes free shipping to most mainland UK locations as standard.
