A  mid century opaline glass mushroom lamp in a Murano style. We're unsure of the origins, however from the design, colours and quality we're pretty sure it's likely to date from the 1970s-1980s, likely from Italy, and possibly the glassmaking island of Murano where similar examples were produced. 
 
Mushroom lamps are design classics from this era and are a must have for vintage collectors. This example has a stunning marbled effect in pale pink hues, giving off a soft ambient light when switched on. 
 
This would really set the vibe off in a room! 
 
They came as a pair but we couldn't help but keep one, and it's easy to see why.
