Mid century sofa / daybed

Mid century sofa / daybed

A mid century 2 seater sofa which converts to a daybed. We're unsure of the maker, however we believe it was probably made in the late 1960s to early 1970s.

This useful piece of furniture has a simple, uncluttered beech frame, with one large bottom cushion and two smaller back cushions, supported by strapping underneath. It then ingeniously slides out to create a compact daybed, with the back cushions forming part of the "mattress".

Because of the simple, unfussy design, we could imagine this with all sorts of different fabric textures and colours, and would fit in almost any interior layout! It's the perfect size for turning a box room into a guest bedroom, or even for turning a playroom, snug or games room into an impromtu extra bedroom at short notice!

The price includes fresh upholstery including new foam cushions to replace the very tired original cushions. This price excludes the cost of fabric which can vary, although you can choose a fabric which works for you and we can help you with this process too.

The price also includes free shipping to most mainland UK locations as standard.
