A mid century coffee table or blanket box with storage within. We’re unsure of the maker and we haven’t been able to find any other similar examples online, however from the style we’d date it as either late 1960s or early 1970s, and probably British made. 
This coffee table is a fairly unorthodox design, however we think it’s actually more practical than most, especially if space is at a premium. 
It features two sliding doors to the top, which offer spacious storage inside! Making it ideal for things you don’t want on show like remotes, spare consoles and games. 
It can be used as a large coffee table too once the doors are closed, with a useful and stylish retro Formica top.
It all sits within a light coloured solid wood frame with a simple design, making it easy to style with your room!
