Mid century teak Danish extending dining table
A mid century teak dining table with inset ceramic tiles made in Denmark by Gangso Mobler in the 1970s-1980s.
This table is typical of Scandinavian design of the 1970s - 1980s, with a simple shape complemented by rustic ceramic tiles. These are also extremely practical as you can place hot plates and drinks on these without damaging the wooden surface!
There are two extending leaves, which can clip onto hinges which allow the table to become a much larger 8-10 seater if needed.
The price includes refurbishment of the central leaf which should remove the fading to the top surface, returning the table to its former glory and allowing the stunning wood grain to glow.
The price also includes free shipping to most mainland UK locations as standard.

For upholstery projects, fabric costs are always additional. We'd recommend Just Fabrics (search for FR to get the correct types of fabric) but you can use other suppliers, just make sure the fabrics are upholstery grade and fire retardant. You need to tell us what fabric you've chosen at checkout, and let us know whether you need us to order it on your behalf. Contact us if you’d like to discuss fabric prior to placing your order.
While we refurbish pieces to a high standard, expect minor signs of wear due to the age of the furniture. Please note that items specifically refurbished to order are non-refundable unless there’s significant transit damage or a discrepancy from the description.
