Mid century teak Mcintosh T2 Gateleg table
A mid century teak drop leaf gate leg dining table, designed by Tom Robertson for aMcintosh in the 1970s.
Part of a sought after range of mid century furniture, designed by Robertson, the T2 Gateleg is a sibling to the more well known T2 and T3 extending tables and is ideal for the those who want the design and build quality of the larger tables, but only have space for a smaller more lightweight piece.
Designed for flexible, compact spaces, this tables goes from a tiny console table, to a 2 seater table (or even desk!), to a comfortable 4 seater when both leaves are extended. The base is made from solid Afromosia teak (unusual for drop leaf tables) while the top is veneered teak.
The top has been refurbished, but does show signs of wear and repair due to the condition it was in upon acquisition - it’s all part of its character and story though!. We’re proud to have rescued this piece from inevitable landfill and it can now live on for another generation.
The price also includes free shipping to most mainland UK locations as standard.
