A vintage freestanding “string” shelving style unit, designed by Niels Gammelgaard for IKEA in the 1990s.
 
This model is one of the trendiest vintage IKEA pieces you can buy at the moment. 
 
And it’s easy to see why - this shelving is clearly inspired by ladderax style modular shelving units, while the grey coated metal wire frame and oak laminate provide a genuine alternative to the more typical black and teak look of ladderax! 
 
It can freestand to divide spaces, although we’d recommend attaching it to a wall for extra peace of mind. 
 
Perfect furniture to display colourful glassware and ceramics or fill with houseplants.
