Vintage IKEA Stenkulla Oak and slate coffee table
A vintage oak extending coffee table with removable slate tops, designed by duo K. Hagberg/M. Hagberg for IKEA in the early 2000s.
First appearing in the 2003 catalogue, this coffee table is perfect for hosting friends and family! It’s solid oak, meaning it’s very sturdy. It has a removable central piece for storing bits and bobs, while the slate to the top can be removed to reveal more storage and allow for easy cleaning for mopping up food and drinks. If that isn’t enough, it’s also got two extra leaves to the side to extend it even further.
This is probably the perfect table for games nights, or laying out food from your favourite takeaway. It’s durable to withstand heavy use, and being solid wood can be refinished again and again.
It’s a stylish piece of Scandinavian design. They were fairly low volume for IKEA’s standards so they don’t come up very often. Its simple looks means it could easily be paired with other Scandinavian, modern or mid century pieces.
We’re happy to strip and restore the wood for an additional fee, please get in touch for more information.
The price also includes free shipping to most mainland UK locations as standard.
